Integrative Physical Therapy

A whole-body, miraculously natural approach to nurturing & empowering YOU.

What is Integrative Physical Therapy

We are your current body's mechanic and your future body's architect.

We are licensed Doctors of Physical Therapy; trained to improve quality of life by optimizing all systems that allow for unrestricted movement and comfort in the body.  We use proven strategies to help you heal, move, sit, work, laugh, sleep, love and play without pain or unnecessary restriction.

We practice integratively; meaning two things:

  1. Beyond purely physical, we acknowledge all parts of you: your mind, habits, heart & soul, history, life, current load, desires, and energy.

  2. We integrate many forms of specialty physical therapies and complementary medicines to achieve the best immediate and long term outcomes and honor what resonates with you.

We take time to review your story and medical history to understand what your body is saying - and what needs to be shifted.

And pssst…..don’t tell anyone but we are all healers.  We are here to do what we do and are gifted to do so  We practice both modern medicine and age-old, time-tested, results-affirming healing.

How it works

  • Healthy movement & intentional restoration are some of the most powerful organic medicines we have. They positively alter how all organs adapt & thrive.

  • We strategically apply/prescribe stimuli that cause positive shifts- sometimes instantly, and sometimes over time.

  • We use hands-on methods to relieve pain and restriction.   This may include joint mobilization, spine mobilization, myofascial mobilization, stretching, neuromuscular reeducation, fascial release, scar tissue mobilization, craniosacral therapy, visceral mobilization, and more.

  • We fix compensatory movement patterns, cultivate stable, healthy joint mechanics, and restore youthful patterns.

  • Travel, garden, sleep, walk, run, ride, hike, play, dance, make love.  We can help you do all of this confidently and with greater ease.

This is the only Physical Therapy experience I’ve had where my therapist works harder than I do!

The Vitam Integrative Physical Therapy Experience:

Our strategic, balanced, integrative Physical Therapy approach includes:

  • Knowing when other modalities need to be brought in to remediate pain and improve life force energy flow.

  • Understanding that sometimes the last thing you need is more overload.

  • Removing barriers to progress & optimizing restoration

  • Recognizing signs that may call for blood work, imaging, or referral to a specialis.

  • Being your doctors for life. No injury or pain required to come and see us!

Preparing for your session:

  • Bring a change of loose fitting clothes including clean socks, shorts and a top.

  • You will need to be able to  rest and move and we will need to see how you move - shoulder blades, knees and all!

  • Be well hydrated and have a snack before for best results

We promise:

  • Your session will be informative, relaxing and rejuvenating.

  • To combine your words and intuition with our hands, eyes, experience, intuition, and education - to guide your unique 1:1 session

We look forward to treating you.
